Day 134: Boot Skootin'
This lady brought her own dancing board to the Grayson County Fiddler's Convention. She rocked it with her gray hair!
Day 133: Giant Coconut Shrimp!
Today we stopped in Maryland to experience their crab cakes! Before our meal, the waiter brought the largest coconut shrimp I have ever seen. It was topped off with orange marmalade!
Day 131: Baby Weights
Big babies make your arms tired. I think my husband needs to start lifting weights!
Day 130: Milk Bottle Apartments
Richmond is home to two giant milk bottles. Our GPS took us around the block to find these milk bottle apartments.

My niece turned twenty-two yesterday and all she wanted to do was go to the drive-in! FUN TIMES!

Day 126: Happy Birthday
My niece turned 22 today! We visited her for dinner and birthday cake at camp. HAPPY B-DAY CHELSEY!
Day 123: Horror Homework
Homework during the weekend couldn't get much better than this! Net up: "Sleepaway Camp", "American Gothic" and "Grandma's House"!
Day 122: Cemetery Island
This headstone was marked with three coffins and initials. I have seen a coffin on headstones in the Uwharrie area, but have never seen one with three like this. Cemetery Island appears to have an original cemetery and also is said to have a cemetery that holds the graves of those reinterred before they dammed the river when Badin Lake was made. Those buried near Lane's Chapel are supposed to be buried here.
Day 121: "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill"
This picture reminds me of Creepshow and the location could have fit into a Stephen King movie. Today we visited Cemetery Island also known as Snake Island. We renamed it Tick Island because of all of the little black boogers that followed us home. I have wanted to go to Cemetery Island for years. There are only a handful of legible headstone, but I feel like my Blaine ancestors are there under the field stones. Maybe they are under the water.
Day 120: 1st Birthday
Today we celebrated a first birthday for the sweetest little girl. Her Minnie Mouse theme was topped off with polka dot balloons.
Day 119: Call Me Grace
Gabby had her first ever grooming experience today. She called herself classy. I called her Randleman with her pink bandana!
Day 116: Full Bloom
The gardenias are in full bloom. Every morning I walk to my car with a strong sweet stinky smell - I love it!

Day 115: Bread Burglar
This little guy was a chub. I'm assuming all of the squirrels at the zoo are since there is so much food dropped for them to steal.
Day 114: Dino Date Day
We visited the dinosaur exhibit for a date day together! "Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur."
Day 113: 3am Moonlight
Tonight was the night before a full moon and the moonlight was blinding. It was beautiful!
Day 112: Pollen Spreader
I'm allergic to bees and sneeze when pollen is in the air. However, these flowers were attracting me as much as they were the bees. Today was such a beautiful day!
Day 111: THE BIRDS!
Turkey vultures landed at Gold Hill this week. It reminded me of the buzzards that sometimes land in our yard in Randleman on their way to Deep River. It wanted to bring them home with me.
Day 109: Drink Cheer
A soda in a glass bottle is always better. A Cheerwine in a bottle is always best!
